Savya Rasa brings to Pune a special Kongunadu festival which is serving an extensive menu with 52 dishes from the region of Kongu Nadu.
The menu for this festival is derived from unique flavours from the extensive use of sesame seeds, groundnuts, dry coconut, dry ginger and roasted turmeric. There is a prevalent use of small onions and ghee too. VM Hospitality is a Coimbatore based company in the heart of the Kongunadu region. Over the years the popularity of the cuisine has waned due to the lack of structured and systematic cooks to promote it to the public as is the case with Chettinad cuisine. The Chefs of Savya Rasa have extensively researched and are showcasing the cuisine to Pune till 2nd July.
