Mishti Sandesh, the Bengali Food Festival has been rapidly gaining momentum at the Hyatt Pune, Kalyani Nagar as the Head Chef, Mr.Suvendu Roy and his team cook up some delectable preparations at Eighty Eight, and here’s our experience :
From Team PuneNightlife, we decided to send Rimpa Bhattacharya, a Bengali herself who gave a big thumbs up on the authenticity of the flavors of her native cuisine.
The specialties on offer include Bhetki Macher Paturi, Aloo Pholkhpir Singara, Mochar, chop for starters to Lamb Muglai Paratha, Cholar Dal, Aloo Pateler Tarkari, Mangser Jhol and plenty of more.
We indulged in some delicious Shukto, Radhaballabi, Aloor Dum, Mishti Pulao, Dhokar Dalna aar payeesh..
And since Bengali is one of the most sweetest languages, one ought to savour the legendary Misti doi and Rosogulla.
The experience promises to sweep you off your feet with a delightful concoction of vegetarian and non-vegetarian flare. Enjoy the love for food from the “Rannaghor” of a true Bengali as he creates magical food for a delightful celebration of life.
