The Chef’s table at Classic Rock Coffee Co Kalyani Nagar.

The best thing about chef’s tables is that you sit down and have a curated meal with a table of interesting people, some of who you many not know from before.
The chef’s table announcing a new menu was an entertaining and tummy stuffing affair.

We started the night with a watermelon feta rocket salad, a well stacked perfectly seasoned fresh salad that set the mood for the rest of the meal.

Next up were perfectly wrapped and cooked to a fine crisp bacon wrapped chicken, these bite sized chicken bites are our new favorite chicken starter!

The amul cheese tikka was best enjoyed at its hottest with the tikka masala adding the perfect flavor to the cheese cubes.

A tad bit oily for my liking but stuffed with a whole lot of flavor and zing, the crumb fried stuffed mushroom was one dish I wouldn’t mind skipping.

The chilly garlic prawns was every sea food lovers perfect dish of well seasoned cooked to perfection generously sized prawns, that I would have had seconds and thirds of had I not know what to expect next.

There are multiple things that give mutton sukha it’s place of pride in the ‘must have list’ and the Mutton Sukkha at CRCC managed to tick all those boxes. From the dash of chilly to the texture of the masala everything was exactly how it was meant to be!

For mains we were served as many dishes as the starters and we did manage to taste a few from the long list.

The three cheese pepperoni pizza is a craving satisfying version of the ever famous pizza. CRCC is where I’ll be ordering my next pizza from!

If I had space in my tummy I would have had the whole serving of grilled fish in lemon butter sauce, the sauce was as perfect as a lemon butter sauce gets.

Yes despite all that food we still had space for dessert and am I glad we did!

The caramel custard took me back to the days when every week we had custard at home! Set to a jiggly perfection, the custard was melt in the mouth light.

The Mango duet panna cotta came a close second in my preferred desserts at CRCC, with the consistency and the flavor balancing out well.

Other than aaaallllll this food we did have a whole list of mocktails and cocktails to try!
In descending order of what I enjoyed were:

  • Guava Chilly
  • Orange Army
  • We will rock you
  • Pick me up
  • Simply red sangria
  • I am damaged

All in all, a great experience !
