with its first ever outlet in Pune. The Middle-East nations and Indian Sub-continent has quite similar flavours in terms of food, which is why the idea of opening a Turkish restaurant came into being. Talking about the ambience, you will find a Middle-East touch to the textures of the place especially the hanging lamp lights. Entering the place you will find a large Hamsa Hand on the right hand side which is commonly used in jewelry and wall hangings throughout the Middle-East nations. The place has a seating capacity of 100 people. The Turkish Coffee is served in a gold pot, has a unique taste of black coffee
which will make the coffee lovers fall in love with it. Falafel which is a starter consisting of chickpeas, celery, parsley, and onions tossed in spices coated with a crispy layer containing sesame seeds is served with Turkish sauce. One must try the mouth-watering Istanbul which is basically a Turkish pizza topped with grilled chicken, chilly oil, mushroom, roasted garlic and herbs. It is commonly known as Pide. It is a boat shaped pizza with
delicious meat and cheese as toppings. The average amount of two people is 500 approximate. Hiro Harjani, Director, Pide Turkish Café had the idea of introducing Turkish cuisines in Pune after visiting Istanbul. The restaurant has a live Pizza counter in which one can see the pizza being prepared in the oven which has been imported from Istanbul.
The menu consists of desserts such as Om Ali which is a creamy dessert made with a puffy pastry with crunchy nuts. With this one can end the meal on a sweet note.
